Great getting with you and Mike yesterday JP. Mike did his magic and the car performed flawlessly.

Too bad the track wasn't available today. Looking forward to the track tweeking and the results afterwards.

You've got a tiger by the tail now.

See you guys a little later in the spring.

8000 RPM!!!

At least, now you know where your hp/tq starts dropping off at..

That being said, at what rpm are you going to be shifting at?

Rayo, If you notice, it peaks about 6700, and the torque is a bit ahead of that.

That's a beautiful Dyno "Curve"; although it's one of the flattest I've seen.

Straight up to the flow limit, no burbles; just sheer Rock and Roll!

Nice result, JP!

I hadn't even noticed that wow! 8K is screaming! What no videos? I'd love to hear what that engine sounds like at 8K.

I've always heard the curve was less important than the area under the curve.

"Curve" is a bit of a misnomer in this application. I suspect the peak torque just under 5K is a result of port length harmonic tuning being just right?

We'll see what the track dictates as far as shift points but there should be adequate room to adjust as needed. I suspect it will probably be around 7500 just to keep the revs up where the next gear engages.

They were great pulls for sure. I'd really like to have seen how far in the low 8K range it would have gone without significant drop off. It wasn't losing much power at all remaining somewhat flat to the signoff point only dropping minimal HP.

Can't wait to see track results once he gets the rest of the track equation worked out.

Ron, It sounds wicked at nearly 8K RPM's.!!
