They made them all the same direction on one side of the car they are backwards and on the other they spin correctly, no matter which wheel you put on which side. I supposed tire rotation is easier like that.

Former owner of 94 Bird with DOHC 4.6L swapped from a mark VIII

1968 Torino was an original 289, C4, fully documented numbers matching car. Now: DOHC 4.6L/T-56 swapped, Cobra intake, IMRC delete, BBK long tubes and H pipe. Dynotech Aluminum Driveshaft, 9" rear with TrueTrac and 4.11's.

Gah! Why would they do that? That's the only reason I don't like the earlier Supercoupe wheels. One side is always "wrong."

wheel rotation...

I am glade of that little fact. One benie I guess to me getting the 93 rims. I think I could live with it though to just get to bolt on a set right out of the box. I dunno how long it will take me to get mine out to CA to have them re-hubbed and balanced, but when ever the day comes I will post some pics of them. I hope they look as good. I sure wish I could get the center caps though. That would really finish it off the right way. I just know those plain centers from the cobra wheel are going to stand out like a soar thumb... at least to the t-bird guys if no one else.

Jeff, you wouldn't remember or have contact info for this guy who had the two sets? I've actually owned a full set for years (safely stashed away) and was wondering who else has the others. I know there was a post here on TCCoA from a guy with a black 94-95 4.5L with these wheels but I just can't seem to find it.

I would like to see pictures of your wheels if you can take some. If you can, take a picture of the area where the valve stem is.

Nope, these are tbird bolt pattern...casted even before they went on the 93 cobra..which to me means that the design was originally for the tbird and not the mustang.

So after revisiting this I did a little more browsing and stumbled upon another single wheel for sale, so now I have a full set of 4 and one more for a full size spare .
