No, I didn't roll the fenders. The Bilsteins hold the rear up nicely. I used the anti-sway bar end links that ADDCO sent which are a good length - shorter than stock but still long enough to keep the rear off of the tires.

I never have any rubbing issues when I'm driving the car by myself or with just me and the wife in the car. But with a car full (4 people) the fenders will bottom out on the tires when I hit a bump in the road. I hardly ever fill the car with people though. Usually it just me and the wife and sometimes the dogs ride along too.

Just purchased a set of 18x9 Silver Saleen Speed Stars + Falken ZE-912 245-45-18 Tires + Eibach Pro Kit Springs. NOT on the car yet. These are the 'Before' pics of my '97 Bird. I'm getting them all installed in about a week or so, (wheels purchased from SCP Bill, got a great deal), just wanna do a 'before and after' thing with my pics. hope it helps, I think I made a pretty good choice. I'll post pics of the AFTER version soon.

Had to get the clear corner lights, love 'em.

Go easy, different people have different taste. Chrome trim on the fenders and a modern art rear wing, with wheels that appropriately go with the ensemble, are what some people like. Dont be a hater. ??

I don't know, I swore I would tear into the next person I heard using the over-gangstered, over-hyped term 'Hater'.

And here it is in its original context: "Here's to all the haters out there'.

Can someone please explain to me, and everyone else here who doesn't listen to Gangsta Rap/hip hop/whatever this crap is called (but listens to music that actually has a point), just what in God's green earth the word 'Hater' is supposed to mean?

This reminds me of the ultra-annoying 'peace' kiss (or whatever the hell it was) that aging hipster L.L. Cool J used to blow at his fans, yet whenever he did it, I thought his visage would be greatly improved by seeing a produce truck suddenly drop on him.

"Yeah, I'm L.L. Cool J, peace out.....AAAGGGHHHH!!!!"

WHUMP!

Does anyone actually take these people seriously enough to actually want to parrot a woefully inept ignoramus and make themselves look 400 IQ points dumber by actually having repeated something that more than likely came from a corporate thinktank, or even worse, a hip-hop artist with an IQ of less than 50?

Or do you people actually think that 'hater' actually means that there are millions of other people out there, who dash back and forth amongst the 'non-haterer' part of the population like wispy ghosts, using their 'Hater' magic spells only on specific musicians? Of course, I hesitate to call certain gangsta rappers 'musicians'....

And while you are professing that we not be a 'hater, is it possible for you to provide a picture of said 'hater' so the rest of us actually know what one of them look like, in case we spot one in public, and just happen to have a pile of rocks and 2x4's handy? I for one would consider it my patriotic duty to eradicate this 'hater' scourge with a good old-fashioned stoning, and I think the rest of the 'non-hater' public would enjoy making it their patriotic duty, also.

However, please don't tell us that the only pictures of a 'hater' you have is like the only picture we have of bigfoot; I don't think that the American public is going to buy that 'haters' are all blurry, out-of-focus spirits that only attack members of the hip-hop community.

Frank Zappa, please come back from the dead, and save us from these people.

So yeah, I bought two Lincolns in a week.

EvilMoose, obviously you didn't get my sarcasm. I was using "don't be a hater" in a funny way of defending the guy with the silly gangsta looking 'bird. Apparently you didn't notice the winking smiley and ?? at the end of my post. Can't we all just get along? hehe.

Nah, I was having fun, also.

But ANY use of the word 'hater' requires a vicious and overwhelming response to obliterate it....immediately, in essence, we must throw the baby out with the bathwater even if someone makes a joking reference to it.

For future reference, 'Hater' = Love Boat reruns.

Now we can get back to flaming the guy with the fugly wheels and ricer bodywork....

So yeah, I bought two Lincolns in a week.

silly ganster looking bird? i thought ganster is having 14 inch wire rims or bling bling 20's ive got 17's that are a lot of chrome and they are not on the car anymore i want a more race looking rim and as far as the spoiler if its not stock you guys seem to rip people to shreds. it seems the only way to fit in here is to stay as close to stock as you can on the outside and dump huge amounts in the motor and tranny. im the type of guy who like to be just a bit different than everyone else with my car and even me as a person.

Stock-looking cars?

No, we just want a Bird, Lincoln, or Cougar that doesn't look like a ricer'd Honda exploded right next to it.

Is that a Camaro setup for the exhaust? How does it work? How does it sound? Do you have a video?

SWS

Soon to have some MHS parts, cams, 'luminum block, lower compression, ported heads, autorotor, and need to make long tubes. I have almost all the stuff and need some #42-50s a bypass valve, and maybe a few other things.

Waa waa, that spoiler would look like sh*t on any car, its just another "look at me mod" to impress middle schoolers. I dont care if its stock or not, its a matter of if its useful or not.

Here's a short clip of Jimbo's car on the strip. It is a chevy setup, he's had it for a few years now.
