Also keep in mind the aftermarket for our bolt pattern (except for the exception of the last few years) has always been very very limited. Due to that most everyone that first got wheels had the option of the Cobra R's and some cheap ugly ass Enkei's...

Just my 2 cents.

Looks good but I have two recommendations. Ditch the mud flaps and lower it 2", it will look so sick after you did that.

When I lowered my car I used intrax springs. When I did the hub swap I think I used a 5.5" backspacing. With a 275 d/r they do stick out a little. Plan to change that when I ditch the irs and install a ladder bar setup and bullet proof 8.8.

No offense meant by the recommendations.

I would still like to see a nice set of SS cragars with raised white letter tires on a Bird or Cat.

I've come into this world with nothing and still manage to have some of it left.

what diameter of tire were you using? mines a 275/60 r 15 (28 tall) so i was worried about lowering it and hitting. currently have lowered the front 1.5 and i was toying with the idea of cutting a coil out of the custom rears i had made (they raised it about 2inches over stock). do you feel that i would be alright with the 1.5 lowering springs out back if i used my air bags to compenstate for a load of people or stuff?

Very doubtful that would fit. Lowered 1.5" with 27" diameter tires it's a close fit, you're asking for trouble. How do you have a working speedo with it THAT far off?!

I run a 15x8 pro star in the rear with a 275/65 15 mickey thompson drag radial. I have 2" intrax lowering springs all around. I have no rubbing problems. I also do not carry any weight, i.e. passengers in the car, I removed my rear seat. So I cannot say if you added weight to the car. I would still say no though. I would say there is three inches or so between tire and fenderwell.

My tires did not effect the speedo. Not anything I could tell anyway. My rear gears threw it off by quite a bit though.

I'll post pics on the car when the wheels come in.
Yeah my 95 is the same color and I am going to have it painted True Blue or maybe Bullitt Green.

C_More,

Actually Sarah (FordTBirdGirl) already had those New T-bird wheels on her car a few years back. But you were the first one to post them in this thread so...

Where did you get those wheels and how much did you pay? That is almost the exact wheel/tire combo that I want!

Some photos of the new stuff on my 95 SC. Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3, 255/40/19 and 275/35/19 (they don't have a 285 in that tire unfortunately) on Motegi Racing Touge 19 x 9 and 19 x 10 at +40 offset. 3/16" spacers behind the fronts, they were just rubbing on the spindles.

cheers

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, 'It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than to be selfish and worry about my liver.'
