Headaches at Ford

That...is terrible. Thank god everyone was okay!
Ford'll get on it, they aren't gonna let this kinda situation reach the public.

For a moment I thought that was up here, which I thought was weird since I would have gotten a call from my friend who is a local fire chief at Mount Charleston. A lot of manufacturers do hot weather and endurance testing just outside of Las Vegas on the main road to Mount Charleston. Makes sense that it happened in Death Valley, we haven't hit our hottest day in a few weeks.

You always test to destruction, if you can; you want to see what fails first, and how bad it can be from there.

It's likely there was a fluid or fluids missing or low, to simulate a worst case type fail...

I'm fairly sure they wouldn't do the "No Coolant" test in death valley, but if you are going to fail one anyway, wtf? :eek:

If I were Ford and that were the case, I'd make an Ad: "This is what it took to kill one!"
