hi folks
I do some research on steering wheels for my t bird ,i wan*t one like a Momo or other racing style wheel. Grand has nice wheels to,so what you guy have beside the original steering wheel which i think is kinda ugly or what will work with our birds column?????
Pretty much all of them can work, there's adapters that can be used.
Personally I think they all look like crap on modern cars like these with a chunky square column, but to each their own. With a 93 I'd opt for a SC wheel personally, those have a nice thick rim
i like the ones like S4Gunn*s design in the "real French leather" thread but also want something with dish because US steering column don*t telescope and i* m sitting far back when i drive
I put a basic Grant wheel on my FX Lincoln. The adapter is pretty flimsy and does not lock onto the steering shaft nearly as well as the factory wheel did. I also messed up a little when I got the wheel and I did not pay attention to the amount of dish that the wheel had. I am unable to pull the multifunction switch back far enough to change between high and low beams. I will be needing to get another wheel with more dish in the future.
Guess RS2000 or Escort or MkII. European market 80s.
