Found a few pics of the base 91 XR7 seats. You can see the resemblance in patterns with my 91 SC seats.

Yep thats exactly the style I saw but it was in some maroon/red color. The ones I found were in so so condition. Its not like you cant replicate it with some sc seats for patterns. Whats so rare about the rear seat back? Clothe fold down? The one I saw didnt have cloth folddown.

so if someone wanted to get some of those seats, what's the best resource?
I'd be even happy with 94-95 SC seats or cougar seats (with bolsters)...

Of course, the above type (leather/cloth combo) would be the 1st choice...so where does one start looking?

Right now I have a crated up hood that needs to get moved out of there. I have to toss in a few more small items before it goes out so Ill be able to at least look and see if any SC style seats are around.

I would have you find me a set of those Cougar front seats w/o the bolsters but I have no place to put them. Maybe once the axles are done and I have the rear bumper on.

Cloth folddown in the 91 material/pattern is pretty damn rare. Anything can be replicated, but the real deal is the real deal. That seat used a pretty unique pattern and stitching to match the front seats that the leather and earlier cloth patterns don't, the only way to truly duplicate it is to template off the stock covers which are so scarce.

By far the green suit me most.

Here is an old shot of my car, its dirty and the driver seat is swapped for a black SC seat to prevent rips tears and stains to the original. The back seat is also swapped to a fold down and the original is also in my house.

I am in LOVE with that green interior! I love modern(well, I guess these are still modern..right? lol) interiors that arent just boring gray or black

My cougar is finally getting some much needed love after my caprice got into a horrible accident

So I made her semi-presentable and am looking forward to getting to know her better through this wonderful forum!

Hopeful mods: Tints, cougar 7 spokes and fold down seat!

You'll have to call him. I think $45-$50? it's been awhile. A lot of people have custom ones made by Scott, he can put custom text and images on the faces and use whatever font style and size you want. He also makes really cool flame ones.

Here is an old article on the satc and clock.
http://mapzone.net/tbird/acc_clock.html

For the dials on the satc I ended up just taking the gels out and used 3 LED #37 bulbs and it looks real good. Clock is easy to do with gels.

I also changed my PRND21 from green to blue, the article is on the forums here somewhere just look through this category. I also gave the info for doing the defrost switch and someone else wrote a good article on lighting up the power mirror switch.

You'll have to search though or search for posts under my name.

Interior project

This is an upholstery job in progress starting with the headliner on my 96 Thundercat. I'd like to get nice looking leather front and back seats if possible and i'll be either dying the carpet black or replacing it with black carpet. Tell me what you think.

By the way, its done in a how-to format so that other people can benefit from it. I can't say how many times tccoa has come through for me long before I even registered with the site, so its time to return the favor.

Decided it was time to show off all the aftermarket modifications to night mode (although the wheel blocks the defrost button). I like to think everything looks right at home.

One of the test shots earlier this evening which has a little more ambient light by which to see things a little better...
