Garage
Race,
I'm looking for parts for my 95 Cougar -
header panel
passenger front fender preferably the Alpine Green
passenger quarter window and seal
front suspension, might as well do it all. upper control arms, inner tie rod, lower arms and balls, struts and lowered coils. ( does the Xr-7 come with the Tbird's sport suspension? that's what I'd like to do.)
bigger front and rear sway bars and bushings
trans cooler
trans fill tube grommet thing ( need ASAP )
97 console top, that light brown] dark Sandal color
matched complete lock set and keys
clear corners

those will get me started for now. Priorities are header panel, lockset, and suspension.
shipping to 92104
thank you!

Any chance you may have a chromed pladtic driver side interior door handle? Why I have access to a passenger side but not the drivers' side I may never know.

Second request is a bit more obtainable. Any interior red/burgundy interior trim, dash or seats etc.? I'm interested in literally everything I can swap plug and play style with my 97 cougar.

Please and thank you,
Appreciate your time.
Anthony

Sorry guys, I didn't get an email notification for these replies.

Scoville, I believe I've got you taken care of via email.

Glenn, I don't have any LED panels at the moment.

Anthony, you're looking for a chrome interior door handle for a '94-97? I can't say I've seen one of those before. I have them for the '89-93 of course. Again, I have a bunch of burgundy interior parts for a '89-93 interior, but not for a '94-97.

Also, if I don't reply here in a timely fashion, I likely didn't get an email response. Please shoot me an email at rodsv6cougar@cs.com or find me at the TCCoA group page or MN12 Trading Post page on Facebook, as I moderate both.

I likely do. Which motor do you need? Or are you looking for the complete seat track with all three motors attached? I'll need your zip code to get a shipped price.

Sorry, the motors on the driverside tracks that I have here turned out to be awfully weak.

The stock bar that mounts to the front of the K-member between the strut rod attachment points?

I'd like a passenger power seat track with motors for my 93 LX. The driver's started back up...the passenger not yet....

Yup, #7 on this diagram:

In another thread, Rayo elaborated:
Quote:
The early bar is Ford Part Number: (E9SZ-5B112-A) or (E9SZ5B112A)
The later bar is Ford Part Number: (F6SZ-5B112-A) or (F6SZ5B112A)

Now you're probably wondering what the difference is between the two??

Like most parts with our cars, as the years passed..The bean counters at Ford looked for ways to save a penny..
Most likely, the later support bar is not as strong as the early support bar (less metal)
Visually, I don't see a difference between the two..

The early front support bar was used on all 89-95 MN12 & 93-95 FN10
The later front support bar was used on all 96-97 MN12 & 96-98 FN10
If you have the early one but not the later one, I'd need fit confirmation (measurements) for my '96. In any case, I need one that's not rusty or abnormally bent/deformed.
Oh, and my Bird is a 4.6L, in case it matters.

I found a used one on eBay for $52.21 shipped. Does that seem reasonable? On 2nd look, it seems to have a slight bend in the middle; there's another one from the same guy for $60 which seems straight. hmmm...

A pick-your-part in Houston said IF they had it, they'd charge me about $50. And here I thought these pull your own part places were supposed to be a less costly alternative (they used to be last time I was in one years ago).

I found a couple of etailers who claimed to have it, but it turned out they're just drop shippers and the actual dealers cancelled the orders due to unavailability. Their price for a NEW one was only going to be $30+ shipping + tax, so I'm not to pleased with the used prices I've been seeing.

I've seen Steeda chassis stiffeners for Stangs, so I wonder if they sell one that might fit my car.

No, those prices aren't reasonable, IMO. I would have charged $10 plus shipping.

Thanks for the quick reply. That's what I was afraid of. Well, I guess the other guys know they've got those in need over a barrel, because they know it's NLA and people like myself are not comfortable continuing to drive the car w/o this bar installed. :/

edit: may have jumped the gun a bit. I has a PM! The plot thickens...
