Parting out my 97 Cougar

The northern cancer has done her in. Interior is in good shape. The 4.6 & trans are at about 130k with no problems. I'm going to work on pulling parts and posting info this week. Here is what I know I have good so far:
Hood, blasted & primed
Front quarters, blasted & primed
Hood insulation
Hood hinges
Plastic headlight bezel, been on the car about 2 months

I've got a 95 Cougar with the tan interior. My driver's seat is leather and cloth, and has seen better days. I've got a dead switch or motor, But I am also interested in bot front seats if in decent condition.

More importantly, I need, cosmetically need... right fender, right door, right rear quarter window, right and left quarter badges... hmmm... header.

How much for each? Shipping to 92104. I'm sorry to hear the cancer got her...that's a rough one. Oh and trunk lock. not the whole apparatus, just the bezel and cylinder..
'97 has the cup holder center console, doesn't it? That's on my wish list as well.
I can't afford to buy it all at once, but You've got much of what I need.
Thank you, sir.

and again, seriously, sorry to hear we lost one.

sik97bird. The motors are in good shape, I'd prefer to sell the whole seats though.

See attached pics, some leather has been replaced, the color difference is not as drastic in person. As far as shipping, hey if you're willing to pay. LOL.

Yeah, it hurts to have to put her down. I want to share these parts though. You've got 2 people in front of you on the seats, for the other stuff give me some time to get that info. The right door has some damage and rust along the bottom, could be fixable, I'll try to get a pic this weekend.
I'm going to tear into her on Sat, got an extra pair of hands helping out.
BTW: got any info on a good Cougar for sale???

What color is the shifter handle, and if it's black, is it in good shape?

Black & good shape, see pic. Now give me some insight on how to remove it for you and we can make a deal.
Also, can I lock the tranny in neutral? I may end up pulling the driveshaft this weekend, in that case it won't matter.

Just want to make sure this is all you want. Or would you like the gears that the motors mount to? Let me know and we'll make a deal.

Mine's in good shape but the wrong color for you. If you want to try painting it I'll ship it for a couple bucks just to cover shipping.

Pics of rust damage to lower part of pass side door. Let me know what you think, if you want to deal with shipping it.
Right front fender is good, blasted & primed.
Right rear quarter window is good, not sure how to pull it, but am game to try.
Header, you mean interior headliner? It's a sunroof car, but headliner is good.
-Let me know what you think here and I'll work on some pricing.

I'd give you $10 shipped if that sounds good.

There's a clip on the front side, it's kinda horseshoe shaped, you can get a pick or something small and pointy into the slot and pull it out, then the shifter handle slides out. It's got a wiring harness that attaches under the gear display, and that's it.

Hopefully that made some sense.

Everyone that has been in touch about parts, I apologize. My family got sick, I spend a whole day going to get a new Cougar, then the job sent me out of town. I'm getting back to pulling parts this week and I'll be back in touch. The new ride is at the post below.

Scored a 96 Cougar. Pics.

Does the car have keyless entry? If so I'd like the body harness (under the seats from the driver side trunk all the way up to driver side kick panel) and the control unit plus cover from the driver side of the trunk.

97 Thunderbird LX (The GT Bird)
2003 Explorer WAP block with Modular Head Shop "street ported" heads and Stage 2 PI NA cams, 75mm Accufab throttle body, C&L upper intake plenum, Kooks 1.75" primary/3" collector headers, 2.5" full exhaust with mid mount Magnaflow dual in/out muffler, 24lb/hr injectors, 80mm MAF, Tuning from Don @ www.lasotaracing.com, CAI that feeds from fenderwell. Jmod, 3.73:1 TL in Mark VIII carrier, Mark VIII aluminum LCAs, 93 Mark VIII driveshaft, PBR brakes (soon to be Cobras), 18x9 wheels with 35mm offset, 255/40/ZR18 Tires, Front and Rear strut/shock bracing, GR-2 shocks, Eibach 1.5" springs, 1989 SC front and rear sway bars.

How about the electrical sockets and a few inches of wire from the front parking lights/ turn signals. I assume they would take the same bulbs as a 95 Bird.

1995 T-Bird. PI 4.6. Bullitt intake. Big MHS cams. 4,200 Dirty Dogg converter. Kooks headers. Full exhaust. 4" Drive Shaft. 4:10s.
Waiting on a tune.

Rick, sorry the car is no longer here. I don't have those parts you asked for. I have the lights if you need those.
