Back to NC! Great!

I noticed a while ago that you changed your location to St. Petersburg.

Welcome home! You'll be a lot closer to me in Hickory than you were in Fuquay-Varina. We'll have to get together some time and take the cars for a drive.

Mods? Yea, I got mods ...
Air silencer delete, warp drive, dilithium crystals, flux capacitor, Slingshot Rubber band power adder, Moonshine & Gas, Leaf Blower Supercharger, Hamster Wheel & Hamster, Energizer Bunny generating 1.21 gigawatts, Mr. Fusion® Home Energy Reactor, hover conversion and a sextant celestial navigation system (The original GPS)
Best 1/4: 1,320 nanoseconds @ 670,616,629.2 miles per hour

"There isn't that much difference anymore between spacecraft, aircraft and modern automobiles..." - Keith Henry, NASA's Langley Research Center
See a list of my real mods and pictures of my car HERE. The true performance of my car was made possible by the Carolinas Crew Chief, RobertP at Rob's Tire & Auto.

And now I'm officially a "Team Lead" which boils down to... all of the above, PLUS now managing all the techs who work at the schools I manage...

Congratulations Brandon & Mikey. Takes some guts to set up your own company especially these days. Good luck to you!

Brandon, my wife works for a specialist veterinary surgery over here. She's not a vet though, she's the personnel manager. Anyway, if your wife's company are looking for a personnel manager with experience in the veterinary field, let me know. Could be our route to a green card and cheaper gas!

I work as a cad draughtsman/designer for an engineering company on the edge of the New Forest in the south of the UK. The company design and manufacture custom rigging and suspension equipment for theatres and studios. We have about 1300 products which are all modelled in Solidworks. I've done pretty much the same thing (in various companies) since I left school (I missed the ambition gene), although back then we used to draw everything by hand on a drawing board. I've been made redundant a few times, but am hanging in there. With most companies now getting all their manufacturing done in the far east, we're a bit of a rarity making most things in house. I'm sure our days are numbered, but hopefully not for another couple of decades.
