Systems Support Technician for a tri-county technical college in upstate of South Carolina. Pretty vague job description, but it would be too long to say Wireless, Fiber, CAT5, Router, Switch, Distance Learning, PC, Printer, Software, Operating Systems, "reboot and call me if it still doesn't work" specialist. I guess Systems Support Technician does pretty well sum it up

Webmaster for the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. I'm in charge of the Website, Intranet and administering the web servers. I have a total site overhaul coming up and they're sending me to school soon. Also do some side web projects.

And I'm not one of those web people that can't fix their own computer

I can imagine they are, especially if they are pressure sensitive.. mmmmm. Hopefully your training will be better than my cold fusion training *yawn*. It didn't help that the instructor wasn't the easiest to understand "Open da dar see eff emm fiwe."

Well for the past 3 years I was a teachers assistant in a pre-school.

But as of now, I can't work there because I am doing my student teaching for college. Thats right, I plan on becoming a general/special education teacher.

Sept-Oct. I will be in a 5th grade class 5 days a week, Oct-Dec. I will be in a 2nd grade class 5 days a week.

While I'm student teaching I will also be taking 4 courses at night.

I now have to find a weekend job.

Cold Fusion rules! It's just so easy (though understanding your teacher helps...) I was more than happy to run in to it again here.

And at least when I go to training, I'll have already done the install once, so I won't be going in totally lost. I have to wait till my welding class is over before I do websphere (totally un work related )

Yeah, very easy, a few new tags, ho-hum. Oh well the company wanted to pay for it and I got half a week off work to go. About the only thing I got out of that class was how cool homesite is. I still don't like dreamweaver.

Production truck driver (look up Caterpillar 793C on google to see what I drive )
hardest part of the job is working shift work.

Also was a
-ASE master certified Automechanic
-Diesel Mechaninc for a Caterpillar dealer

Left being a mechanic to drive production truck because the money is GREAT and I get to sit on my butt all day driving around 850,000 lbs of machine while listening to the Radio.

I'm a "Tradesperson" for AMSEC LLC. I paint, lag, tile decks, layout/install furniture, re-work/repair/replace valve actuators, install RAM tile, work on valves, tear out and replace heads and racks (habitability) and sometimes am job supervisor for most of the above jobs on Navy ships and soon, possibly cruise ships.

Machinist / Mechanic I build Torque converters and machine transmission parts. I also make odd tools to be used in the shop. I have made many engine support fixtures( my windstar setup makes fords setup look like junk). My project of the week is I am making a spreader to rebuild my 8.8 rearend. This should be an easy project. I Tig and mig weld. I'm not too shabby with a torch either
