Where do you work?

in other words, what is your job? mine's pretty badass, i work at a 1/4 mile race track where i run a concession stand with two other guys. sometimes the owner will let me do a few runs down the track. we have a great view of the starting line since the concession stand is right next to it.

You are one lucky SOB!!

My Title is "Client Training Supervisor" or "Client Training Specialist"
I work for the Great State of Kansas SRS. My partner and I travel all over Kansas (in a state issued 99 Dodge Caravan, bleah!). We observe Dual Diagnosis Consumers (A DD is a person who has both a Developmental Disability and a Mental Illness). After observing the persons behavior for a few days we give recommendations to the people working with the consumer on how best to work with that person. Its pretty interesting. Doesn't pay good but I get to help people.

Still going to college By the time I'm done I'll have 5 years in

And then when I'm done I'll be an Elementary Teacher - watch the dough roll in then

But on the up side we will both be teachers so the summer vacation possibilities are endless - almost 3 months of free time

Summer jobs right now are working on the family farm and other friends' farms.

I'm actually in AZ, had to move a few years ago for a job!

I'm a Courtesy Clerk at a grocery store. Basically I stock shelves, push in carts, clean up messes that stupid people leave, tell people where things are at if they ask, help upfront when needed, and walk around to make it look like I'm busy I work an average of 35-40 hours per week - full time hours, but part time status. I like that because I can make more money and not have the taxes taken out to cover the full time benefits. Although I'm going to try and switch to F/T status in the summer.

And on top of that, I'm a full-time student at the local community college (Metro Comm. College for those in the eastern Nebraska area) Between the 35-40 hours per week and 13.5 hours of school per week, I don't have much time for a social life But no social life means big bank account.

Ah, all too familiar with that term. Except at Martins, that just refers to baggers. Instead of saying "I need a bagger to _____", they actually make them say courtesy clerk, because they say bagger is disrespectful. Yeah though, I can relate with all the cleanups and stupid people.

I am a full time student at a film school in Maine. At school I have a job of driving a van around when people need rides and to events. I also have a on campus job working in a editing facility using really nice, fully equiped macs with some powerfull film editing software.

At home (Rochester, NY) I work for the leading supplier of homemade intake tubes and ram air supplies, Home Depot. I actually like Home Depot. I have worked in many places and HD is one of the better. I get paid well to help customers pick out things they want. I have worked there in the Garden, Hardware (tools), Electrical, and Lumber depts.

After school I will probably move to LA (in Cali.) or one of the other large places that deals with movie stuff, Florida, possibly Texas, and who knows where else. I am shooting for LA. My job would be to edit movies. I could be editing anything from Discovery Channel documentaries to feature movies to music videos or anything that pays well. I already have some great connections from here in school so I should be able to get something good. And NO I will not be making porn movies. everyone seems to bring that up. I will though try to put Tbirds, Cougars, or MarkVIIIs in movies whenever I can though.

Liquor Store Employee. I get invited to quite afew "I just turned 21 so lets get drunk" parties...and usually they nice looking chicks.

Was going for Electrical Engineering, but state aid stopped, so I'm left with credits, a large student loan payment, and no way to finish my degree. Currently saving up money to 1) move south and 2) go back to college.

I'm a Computer Tech for the government. They break it i fix it or occasionally make it worse. My agency basically gives out our tax money for section 8, fuel assistance, public housing and weatherization. It pays good and i have greay benefits. And i am one of 5 males that work in an office of 50 woman, 50 % of whom id say where early to mid 20's and hot. For some reason they dont hire men but thats ok with me. But it makes for some very interesting X-Mas parties after a few drinks. We have a pizza party every 2 weeks and big birthday bashes for everyones birthday. I honestly dont do too much work. I get to go in whenever i want unles its an emergency. I get Fridays off in the summer as a beach day. The only down fall is about 75% of the people only speak spanish. So i dont know what there saying about El Gringo Rob. But i do love a hot spanish seniorita. And they only need to know the word yes for me. So thats what i do i never new i had a decent job until i just thought about it. So if anyone needs any government aid just let me know ill take good care of you, offer only good in mass lol.

I'm working at Unisys as an consultant and hired by the Swedish National Social Insurance Board as an IT Manager... They handle everthing that has to do with the government giving money to people... To those without any money, pensions, disabilities and so on... And I make sure all the systems work... and figure out new ways to make 'em work. The conclusion is that they would if we didn't have any users...
