Meadowlark Lemon and Curly Neal are probably sitting in front of the TV going, "Dayum!", 'cause it looks like the Globetrotters vs. the Washington Generals right now.

It's a full-tilt street game.

Yeah..Gary Neal, and Danny Green were out their minds tonight..

It was nice seeing the Spurs return the favor after Game 2..I'm not going to speak too soon on this series though..

The Miami Heat are a good team, and this is a long series..

All that aside..Go Spurs!

Agreed, Rayo! I never cheer for the Spurs (T-Wolves aka. Garnett fan), but I will cheer against the heat! I love how all the commentators said that the Heat were done after Game 1, and go 180* after Game 2.

I don't really have a favourite team and am not cheering for anybody. What is with the brutal officiating? I don't care who wins but the heat is going to have a tough time beating the spurs and the refs.

The refs let a lot more go in the playoffs, but IMO the calls are equally bad..lol

I think the way the refs think is.."Ok we missed this call..So the next call we'll give to the opposing team"..Even if it is a ticky-tack foul, or a borderline travel..

I'm not trying to pick on Miami, but when Lebron goes to the hole like a line-backer..Then shoots the ball out after he knocks someone over..

If the refs really wanted to be diks they could call a "charge" everytime he does that..

Again..IMO the officiating is equally bad for both teams..

I know you are a Spurs fan but the officiating was not close to fair last night. How many push off (offensive fouls) did Duncan get away with last night? Lots. How many illegal screens did Ginobili get away with on Green's 3 pointers? The Heat had 5 points taken away in the 4th Qtr last night due to illegal screens. Ginobili did the exact same thing on 2 of Green's 4th Qtr 3 pointers. The Spurs 0, but should have been 6, had the Refs been somewhat fair. How many flops did Ginobili get away with? Do you want me to keep going?

I do not care about either team in the final and could care less about who wins. I just wanted to watch a good game and it was not a good game, the game was decided by the officials in favour of one team. That was I did not like about the game last night.

This is like watching the Bulls vs. Jazz not so long ago.

I was going through an old SI mag and noticed this ad:

There's an 80's flashback!..

Pistons: Isiah Thomas
Lakers: Magic Johnson
Celtics: Larry Bird & Kevin Mchale
Knicks: Bernard King
Mavericks: Mark Aguirre??

I admit I had to look up Mark Aguirre..When I think of all-star Mavericks from the 80's..I think of players like Derek Harper, or Rolando Blackman..

Both teams seemed like they were gassed in the second half, maybe from the adrenaline rush of the first half.

The Spurs will need a few more 3-pointers than they got last night to win.

Both teams have great players.

Ray Allen got some payback for having his 3-pointer record broken by David Green.

Looks like it's back to being a Lakers fan for me. Shame that Spurs gave away game 6. They would have had it back then, and now they lost it all.

I'm mainly a Lakers fan myself. They're my #1 team, but I do like other teams of course. One of those other teams being the back-2-back NBA World Champions Miami Heat . Been a fan of them ever since Shaq put on a Heat jersey

Same here. Lakers, Clippers (when they're good like this past season, lol), and any other California team I'll be a fan of. Then, I'll be a fan of an "underdog" team when it comes to the playoffs and then the finals. Unless, it's a team i don't like.....like the Heat, lol.

I actually think the officiating in this years playoffs was overall much better than the past years, but still not perfect obviously. Unfortunately with basketball, a bad call almost instantly becomes a 4-5 point swing.

The officials let a lot go, which is what is supposed to happen in the playoffs, but they let it go both ways. Miami's game plan is either recklessly attack the rim and either have a flashy dunk or get to the line, and the Spurs are more controlled. That is why it appeared the refs were in favor of SA at times, until the end of Game 6... Ask any Vikings fan about shooting yourself in the foot and putting the game in the hands of the officials ('09 NFC Championship). If you don't take control of the game yourself, you will end up being mad at the refs for one or two bad calls, when in reality, you're gameplay cost the game (aka Ginobili costing Games 6 & 7).

Lastly, this was a great series to watch! I wanted SA to win, but Miami never gave up, and pulled through. I dislike Miami ever since they played the Celtics in the playoffs (I believe last year), and Labron shot 24 free throws (Heat as a team shot 49 free throws!!!), and all of the Celtics combined shot 29. That is over 3/4 the points at the line, and a very terrible, and long 4th quarter to watch. That is why they had to let stuff go, otherwise the games would be settled purely at the line.

Yeah..I like Ginobili, but he should have been benched...He had been struggling bad, and couldn't get consistent..

I admire Pop for giving him the chance to work through his struggles, but I don't think the NBA Finals should have been that place..

I think it had something to do with him being the highest paid player on the Spurs..

that is solely your opinion, not fact. I can like as many or as little teams as I wish; it's called free-will. Like I said before, I been a Miami fan since the very first day Shaq put on a Heat jersey, not just when they won. Just because I don't tout it here 24/7 doesn't make me a bandwagoner. How do you know I didn't root for them all the years in between that 2006 championship and these past two years? You don't. So hush.

Which is why I don't watch...or really care....about sports until the playoffs. I like to watch games for fun not for my favorites. Unless there's a team I don't like for some reason.

Call me a "fair weather fan" if you'd wish, but it's how I roll .

If I only liked my MN teams, I would be bored during the playoffs in every sport besides the WNBA! Speaking of which, they let the girls be more physical than the guys, and they flop and whine much less than the guys do!
