97 T-Bird in St. Louis, gold, 57k miles

1997 Ford Thunderbird | eBay

A couple things I noticed looking at this car (other than the high price!).

I didn't realize those "base" wheels were directional. I could have sworn I had seen them facing one direction on several cars.

That car sure idles high, at least compared to my '97, which is only like 550 RPM.

The car looks pretty nice, if it is local to you and you can "wait it out".

Looks like the car from the TCCoA banner

The 89-92 base alloys (and SC for that matter) weren't directional, those may be what you're thinking of. These replaced the fanblades so it would have been a notable aesthetic downgrade had they gone non directional, course in these declining years of MN12 I see them mismatched from tire rotations every time I see one.
