TCCoA Top Times - The Current List

Ok, I'm going to take a shot at starting our own lists. I'm going to start with the SCCoA and the MAMN12 lists and add to it. You'll recognize most of the usual suspects already on the list. I'm going to try to get everyone who's run their car and wants to be included on the list into their time bracket.

I'll break it down into time brackets so that there will be competition (and bragging rights) among each group.

Groups will be:
  • 9 and 10 second cars
  • 11 second cars
  • 12 second cars
  • 13 second cars
  • 14 second and above cars

In order to keep the lists current these times are for the past 12 months only. The lifetime best times are listed in THIS THREAD.

**You have 12 months from the date listed at the end of your time to run a new time or your name gets dropped from the list.

LINCOLN MARK VIII OWNERS:

The current fastest Lincolns list is maintained at Lincolns of Distinction by Driller. If you have a fast Lincoln and want to get onto that list contact Driller here or at LoD to get your car onto the FN10 list at Lincolns of Distinction.

LIST DETAILS

These lists will always be for 1/4 mile times only. I'll post up an example format, and you can reply to this thread or PM me in that format and I'll copy and paste.

Must be a Ford MN12. Any power adder, any tire, any motor, don't care. There's really not many rules here, just a list to show the top, fastest cars of past year (you driving your car!). I don't need pics of time slips, Ill take what I'm told. If you see BS from someone, I'll already know it and it won't get on the list. One entry per car, no entry will remain on the list if over 12 months old. You can comment and post in here also.

Here is the format: 11.062 @ 123.17 - 06/2012 - Blown38 - 95 T Bird SC AR

Start with your time to the third decimal place and MPH to the second decimal place followed by the month and year of your run, your user name, year of car, type of car, Basic Engine info including size (3.8L or 4.6L) - 2 valve or 4 valve, power adder(s) and finally any other important details about how you got your car to that time - including (but not limited to) - Type and size of SC and/or Nitrous, type (wet or dry) and shot amount, fuel type, etc.

I'll continue to update and tweak these lists as time permits and new times are posted.

So without further ado ...

THE CURRENT FASTEST MN12's in the country

2 years ago at the sc/xr7 shootout my 97 4.6 NA PI headed/markVIII shortblock, TFS intake car went 14.06
6 years ago my 95 4.6 NA NPI went 14.55 at the shootout.

There is a very good list on sccoa that can be used as most if not all of the people are here as well. One is in a post another in their articles. I will try to find a link tomorrow. I have nothing for the last 12 months.

Thanks Allen. When you do get around to finding your times or creating new ones please post them in the format that I outlined above.

I know where the SC Shootout list is on the Shootout website.

I pulled this list from the SCCoA forum. I'll update and ammend it as time allows. I still have to add the MAMN12 list to this starting point to create a combined list.

I think

All 4V 4.6 Lincolns or Tbirds should also have a list.

Not sure about what to do with the Stroker motor crowd either 2v/4V

Regardless if its quickest times only then it really shouldn't matter????

Get me up there! 14.748 @ 92.63 Black_Cat - 95 Cougar XR-7 4.6L 2V NPI 5 Speed 11/2012

Also IMHO Ron, maybe there should be a 15+ section, because there are a LOT of 15-16 second birds and cats, even 14 seconds deserves it's own area, otherwise we will all be mixed in!

I drive an endangered species...they are being crushed at an alarming rate. Please do your part to preserve the Cougar species, and ensure they live on into the future.

Ron,

Are you going to start a new list for quickest times in 2013??

1 for Power adder cars and 1 for NA Cars. All times will be for 2013 season?

Just curious!!

No the list is only good for 12 more days. It expires on December 21 along with the rest of the world. As far as adding additional lists for various catagories well ... let's not get carried away. That's a lot to keep up with.

I'll try to call out the tops within each catagory within the lists themselves. Even sub catagories like that can get obnoxious because everyone's car is unique in some way.

Would you like me to ID yours as the fastest un-blown, currently not running, N2O Cougar?

He's Incorrect!

It is still running just not like its supposed too ROFL!. Minus about 3 cylinders right now but STILL running.

Hopefully I'll have it apart and back together by spring.

BTW Ricks R429460's car is on there. I know it has just recently gone a 12.12 or so. Might need to get with Rick on that.

Jason Miller may have updated his as well. 12.54 or so I believe.
