oh I dunno. With an otherwise stock exhaust I dont' think it'll make a difference. You know what the rest of the exhaust looks like... Mufflers gotta be the least of the problem
(and I sure didn't notice any difference)

I went from a consistant 15.8 with hacked off mufflers and straight tips to consistant 15.6 with the Dynomax catback. Enough proof for me!

I highly doubt that was from adding just the mufflers. I'd bet that came from opening up the exhaust from the cats back. A dynomax cat-back with mufflers is going to flow better than that crappy stock pipe w/o mufflers IMO.

Mods are in the sig.

390HP/425TQ at the crank calculated based on data logs from a 13.44@100.17 run.

Figure 320RWHP/360RWTQ with drive line loss.

The car weighs 3975lbs. with me in it so I think that's not too bad.

Latest is 13.10@100 and 13.12@102. 1.79 and 1.80 60ft. times respectively.

Long tube headers are my winter project though. I expect all of the numbers except the weight to improve after they are done.

Not really... He's definetly sand bagging. That same engine sent me 13.36 with less converter. My new setup will be quite a bit nastier when it comes to be.
