Yeah I was pretty much fine after 2 weeks. I had to get surgery to get my eye orbit fixed and I had to get a nose job. (My nose was pretty much shattered) All that is left now is a scar across my nose and an insurance bill well over $7,000!!! Thank god for insurance!!!

That's messed-up. Did you ever find out who the perps were, or why they did it? Were you in a shady area of town or something?

I hate to stereotype, but I bet that if these townies had/were getting an education, they wouldn't be such thugs. I wonder where their parents went wrong.

I hope you get good cash for that dude. Totally unfair what happened to you.

I was walking home to my apartment (Normal, IL, right off the ISU campus) and crossed these guys and they said "what’s goin on", I passed them and when my back was to him he punched me in the back of the head so, I turned around. As soon as my head was turned I got clocked with a Jim Beam bottle and I was out. Then all of them proceeded to kick me in my head. I did not have one bruise on my body except for my head. Luckily my friend was there and was able to keep some of them off me. He got hit with a beer bottle and it cut the back of his ear open.

In the end there are 2 in jail, a couple of them got probation, one is awaiting trial, and one guy ran to Maryland but I think he was caught and is also awaiting trial. The cops said they know everyone that was there and pressed charges on the ones they had evidence on. I am supposed to be getting restitution from a couple of the guys so hopefully I will have some mod money for the bird.

It was totally unprovoked and none of the guys were students. They were all townies.

It was due to the server time being off (1hr ahead) after it being rebooted after some recent work. The time was recently corrected, so some posts are going to be out of order that were made after the adjustment period (about 1hr).

And you haven't proposed WHY?!?! Who cares if she's 16! Get her a ring! Wait until her 18th if you have to for the service, but keep that!

Yeah, the towel pics were a bit much, but its all good I suppose.
