Any more pics like that one that I just deleted the link to, and this thread will go the way of the dinosaurs

Sorry BlckTBird96sLilBtch that's a bit innapropriate for a site that families visit.

First off you look like you in a neighborhood, how did zoning feel about you pulling a motor in your front yard? Did that engine host roll good on grass with the motor on it? Sorry just wondering.

Yep, That parts car sat next to my garage for a year in various stages of dismantling and amazingly, even with my @$$hole neighbors, nobody seemed to care, though they complain about everything else...

And no, the hoist didn't roll at all. Actually, the front end was sinking and lifting the back end in to the air (oops)

See that red truck in the picture? We backed it on to ramps to clear that wall, dropped the engine and tranny in the bed, drove the truck back off the wall and in to the driveway and put the engine on the stand in the driveway.

And the moral of the story... NEVER pull an engine on grass!!!

Heh, when we did an engine swap on my buddies firebird his mom was on our butts EVERY day about getting that parts car out of the driveway....we had the engine out of it and in the good firebird in just a couple days and stripped every remotely useful part off the parts car in like a couple days. We even torched the much better posi axle off of it...my buddies bird is a standard 301 v8 firebird which has an LS rear end. I feel sorry for the guy who had to tow the parts car, the 301 was just kinda sitting in the engine compartment...kinda like wedged in...it made skid marks all the way down the road lol. But they probly made out good on the 301, ive heard those are valuable to people who want to keep their cars all stock. Screw stock the 403 makes that car move like a mofo Anyhow just thought id add that reading about crystals parts car heh...
