Hey Pete, that's a nice sharp looking 97' XR7 Sport, not many of the cat's still look good in bone stock trim (well except for you tips anyway, if it's really a 5.0 it must be a sleeper. lol, then again the engine bay pic looks like a 4.6, what's up with that? It bored to 5.0?)

I figured I'd post my 97 Mark VIII LSC and my 97 Thunderbird 4.6.

Mark VIII, it usually has stock 16x7 Chrome wheels on it, but I put the 18's on from the Thunderbird for the pics.

Thanks for the responses, guys! Glad that you all are liking the car.

But, to answer the questions, that is a modular engine, but it has received the big bore process to become a 5L. I really wanted to keep it a sleeper and most people think it's just got an exhaust system, since the cam lope is pretty light and they don't recognize the valvetrain noise. Plus, if I ever do open the hood, it still looks very stock, only having a couple of bolt-ons. Most people can't spot the aluminum block or PI manifold. Even the stock exhaust manifolds are on that engine.

The only other external mods that I was thinking about doing was maybe painting the calipers red, and getting some "5.0" fender badges, since the red decimal in the badge would match the calipers, and the chrome numbers would go with the factory trim. Do you all think that would that blow the sleeper look?

Thats the Xenon front lip as far as I can tell. Looks like he modified the lower lip, cut out the stock slats for the FMIC to flow through, then cut a hole in the bumper as well.

The other shots of it look pretty sweet too
