The plywood is a temporary covering, we have plans to enclose the area with fencing and cover the rollers with steel plate.

Also got my 2G Emission's Inspector License today. Now I can test and repair vehicles, instead of just testing them. Next month I go for my Diesel endorsement as well.

In a few days the Mustang Dyno guy's are supposed to be out to do the final inspections, calibration, and training. I'm stoked. Lol I don't know what my HP/TQ numbers are, but I do know that I'm allowed to find out

The primary purpose of the Dyno will be performing Drive Cycle Monitor setting safely, in controlled conditions. Additionally I'll be able to test diesels since they require loaded Emissions testing, but last and not least the Dyno comes standard with the HP/TQ, 1/4 mile, and top speed testing.

Just another day

Also the control box is masked off because it is going to be repainted to match the walls.
Will you also be allowed to haphazardly strap vehicles to said dyno, so they can work their way loose, and launch off of the dyno wheels and into a wall a few feet away, just like they do in all of those Youtube and Streetfire videos?

Some neighbor up the street has a son who drives what appears to be an orange Superleggera version of that car. Sounds....good.

Um no. We handle our work very seriously and professionally, we currently have 6 in ground anchors behind the rollers and 2 in front, as well as wheel chocks. We also secure every vehicle with a minimum of four locating points using chains, straps and axle straps. We always cross strap the axle end/drive wheel end of the vehicle as well as center the vehicle on the rollers before final strapping. Additionally we recheck the straps after each pull for tightness, rub marks, burn marks, fraying etc... any problems are immediately addressed before the become issues.

If you ask me anyone who has had a car come away from them on the dyno has it comming for not fearing and respecting the machine. Additionally all vehicles are supposed to have fluids checked and all tires checked for pressure, wear, buldges, seperation, speed rating, and age, as well as rocks since they can become as lethal as a bullet during a high speed run. If the vehicle is not up to our standards before a run we will not do one.

Dont be jealous of me I cant afford to buy them just to buy them. Someone on this board should go get them they are mint. Thats just dust on the finish you can see where I put finger prints on it. I also found a manual SC there with a folddown seat. The SCs are getting rather rare right now. Out of 20 mn12s fn10s 1 will be an SC and thats if there are even 20 in the lot.

Not "today's" pics, but I did get them into my photobucket today from my crap cellphone cam. Taken this last Thanksgiving Eve at a small club in Madison WI.
Alex Webster (bass) and George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher (vocals) from Cannibal Corpse.

I was pressed right up against the stage, couldn't move out of there if I wanted to!

Got to hang out and talk with Alex after the show for a good 45 minutes or so. AND....got him to sign my bass pickguard. It does not get any more Metal than that.

I have a quart jar of that sitting in my garage; without the peaches, tho.

It's labelled 'plastic safe solvent' or something like that.

I had to limit the view of the room due to poster content.

This room is decorated in what I like to call "Early Hooter's".

Like the iron ons?

I put the "Umbrella Corp" Iron-ons I bought on my labcoat at work, lol.

Yea, LOL I thought the one with the broken leg was hilarious too...

That label caught my eye too. I said to myself, "I've got to try this one!"

The beer itself is a typical Stout with a bit of a bite to it.

Here's a closer look at the label.
