They do a great job hiding the rust for awhile though.. That water, and salt probably just sits in that crevice till..Well you see what happened here..

How does the body cladding on the 96-97 MN12's do as far as holding moisture in?

Is there rust hiding behind that cladding on Northern cars?

Speaking of snow...this was about an hour or two into it snowing here. All in all, we have received 1-2 inches with more on it's way tomorrow night.

You guys got snow, I got ice! My wiper blades were frozen to the windshield. The pattern that was made was actually quite pretty.

That's really cool!!

You know how Ice can sublime; it goes directly to vapor, without melting first?

That's the exact opposite; the saturated water vapor in the air turning directly back to ice crystals on a colder surface.

They all grew from various "Seed" nucleation sites, and spread as they grew...

That's the way All crystals are made, really; just different materials at a different crystallization point.

I just thought it was really neat that the ice made really cool patterns like this. And yes, I know about sublimation. You can encapsulate a penny (or other sort of coin) in an ice cube by simply placing the penny on top of an ice cube through sublimation.

This was our one week. 1/4 inch of ice, 1/3 inch of snow and 1.5 inch of snow spread out over 7 days, all gone even on secondary streets by noon each time. Back into the 60's and 70's this week.

Swapped them

So I went to our shop and swapped them. They look so much more normal, comparing them to the way they were backwards made them look pretty goofy! Thanks for reminding me Joe!

- Just noticed the quality is a bit junk, I think its because it was dark outside, sorry!

Looks good with the wheels on the right way. When I had my DIRECTIONAL winter tires mounted, I stressed to the guy at the tire shop that the wheels were directional as well...Now I've got four backwards wheels and don't have a choice. Unless I want to run the tires backwards! Decisions, decisions.

I'd take them back and demand they fix them for free. The tires are marked directional, and your rims have directional marks on them. Plus you told them. No excuses there. They should have done it correctly the first time.
