Thanks! The pics make the car look better than it actually is, but when I saw that sunset, I had to hurry up and bleed the brakes and bolt the wheels on so I could grab that shot. I really like the way the sunset makes the pearl in the paint pop.

How about a video instead of a picture? These shenanigans took place last weekend, but I just got a chance to create the video late last night. This is a car/bike cruise I put together, the mantra of which is "back roads and burnouts". It was a great time, and I'll definitely put it together again next year. You might notice a few TBU regulars in the video.

Cool video Rod.

You guys are brave doing burnouts around that many bikes. I've seen enough burnouts gone wrong videos to imagine the worst!

Anyway, looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing.

There's a slick spot leaving the interstate at my exit, and if it's wet, you have to roll out of the throttle with a V8 or slide into the ditch.

I see this one Black Mustang parked there every time it rains; last month, there was an orange one parked beside it in the ditch.

That's one reason I'm keeping my cars, lol.

Today's photo:

And a few taken since I last posted an update here (back in January). I'm still plugging away on the '65 C10 every weekend. Some of the things done since the last update:
Stretched the rear wheel openings 2" forward
Widened the rear tubs by 5-3/4"
Replaced the inner bedsides
Shaped roundstock to the profile of the wheel openings, rolled the lips around it, and welded it up (gained another 1" of tire clearance on each side)
Made/installed the rear brake lines
Wired the cab
A TON of blocking

Took the grandkids (and their parents!) to the Shriner's Circus today.

The interior was too dark from where we were to get any good pics; but on the way in my grandson and granddaughter posed with a few of the local Clowns.

Because I'm lazy, I attached them as attachments instead of posting them inline.
