This will make you sick!

Taking advantage of the good weather and a state holiday today, I'm finally getting around to swapping off my snow tires on my Fusion.

When I do this I pull the bottom of the fender liner out to clean out any debris that's built up over the winter.

This was on the driver side, check it out!

The Bird makes a rare appearance

Dragged the Bird out of the garage today, as the weather's going to be ok this week.

Haha I'll have to try that. Not sure about donutting Stonehenge though. Although it's only about 40 mins from here, I'd probably get arrested, and get the car crushed for free!

Funny to talk about, in a joking manner.

But there's always that one guy, lol.

In reality, I think there's about as much chance of donutting Stonehenge as there is doing donuts on the white house lawn.

But; WTF: If you were ever there (either place), and had a Remote Possibility of pulling it off and not dying horribly by torture, ... Argh.

That's what I would have liked to see in that Cars and Coffee thing that Seinfeld did with Obama, lol.

Now I'll find out I'm not allowed to fly anywhere, lol.

More Seriously:

I'd love to see some cool pix; and if you're in the States, we're having an Eclipse party this August.

Oh, with a wealthy patron, anything's possible...

Right now 1500 lbs is about all the more the planes I fly now carry in terms of "useful" load.

Andy - I notice a few extra marker lights on the car (fender, rear stop lights) - I assume those are UK mandated extras over what we require in the states...?

Red rear turn signals are the car equivelant to America's holding out with imperial over metric. The rest of the world mandates amber in the back.

Back In Black

Done. Leaving the dash because the I like the contrast, and not replacing the seats (just have covers on) and carpet because theyll just get shredded anyway.

We have to have amber turn signals to pass the special test the car has to pass when it's imported. Back in the 90's when mine was imported, most people just stuck horrible big square lights on the back of their car. Mine has got a pair of side repeater lights on the hack, which the relevant tester was obviously happy with. They work ok, but I've often felt that they might be a bit small to spot from another car, and possibly easy to miss. These days I think there must be a better option using some kind of led lights.

The additional red light underneath the rear fender on the right is a 21w fog light fitted for the same reasons, and wired to a switch on the lower part of the dash down near the parking brake. Only ever used in my case on the day of its annual inspection. I think it looks horrible and would gladly get rid of it.
