Nice bokeh! (Cute dog too.)

I rented the Canon 16-35 f/2.8L II and the Canon 100-400 f/4.5-5.6L IS from LensProToGo.com

The 100-400 is one of the white lens that you see all the pros using at NFL games from the sidelines.

They're amazing lenses!

Mods? Yea, I got mods ...

The moon from my front porch shot two minutes ago. With the Canon 100-400 f/4.5-5.6L IS lens. Just a bit of atmospheric distortion but not bad.

I was hoping to use this lens to shoot pictures and video of summer blast but now I've got to find other things to take pictures of ...

Anyway, I gave a symbolic wink for the Armstrong family.

I have many moon shots, but none of them have that kind of clarity. Awesome shot.

I've done some long-exposure photos of the night sky to get some star trails, but I have too much light pollution in the city; they get washed out. I also wanted to buy one of those motorized tripods that match the rotation of the earth, so you can take some long-exposure "still" shots of stars, nebulae, clusters, etc.

Because I've been promising to do this to myself -

New LED strip to replace the incandescents for illumination on my 1991 Cougar.

With flash, can't see the backlight:

With the lights off (note: didn't use the tripod, so it's a bit blurred ... )

I'm rather pleased with it myself.

The shape of the roof and the bricks along the sides mamke it look like a Mcdonalds, however, the blue border around the front and the glass added on room on the right side looks like a burger king...hmmmm I wonder if they still use the drive through

Smoke and haze from a huge fire about 30minutes down the river from me. The town has been evacuated I believe. The cars where covered with a fine layer of ash that the winds blew in last night.

Here's several:

A shot of the high pressure elbow and the new AN-6 hose:

Another shot, before the low pressure hose was put on the elbow:

Still another one:

Turns out 24" is a bit much, I think 14" may have fit fine, but eh, I have the room here.

ACDelco sway bar end link. Notice the captivated cap (RARE in these), and the zerk on it.

Raybestos LCA ball joint, and the bottom side of the sway bar end link:

Think the motor may have shifted to the driver's side with the new motor mounts:

Yes it clears the battery. However, I WILL be replacing that battery soon with the next smaller size that fits.

Replacing the water pump on the mustang. How did it lead to this, you ask? Well, two bolts snapped, which led me to remove the timing cover. While I'm in there, since this engine has over 250,000 miles on it, I'll also be replacing the timing set. In the meantime, I'm getting a new timing cover and hardware.

There was a restaurant called the Concord Street Grill, it was located on Concord St. in North Reading, Mass.

I had always wanted to get a picture of one of my cars against this building! However, it isn't a restaurant anymore, it's an office for some sort of company and I'm not sure how long this wall will stay like this, so I had to seize my opportunity the other day!
