Thanks guys!

Nice, you work on them. Question, the one I bought how cold of temps can a typical neon operate in?

Couldn't tell you. That's the problem, I don't normally work on neon nearly all the service we do is florescent or led. On internally lit signs, we usually just pull old neon, and replace it with led's. I've only ever repaired neon twice and don't really know any specifics of it. other than basic troubleshooting.

It's a shame everybody's moved to more cost effective lighting, I love the look of exposed neon, nothing else really compares.

Well so much for the frontwheel drive sleigh, Been driving in snow for 3 days then we were sitting at a red light on nice snow/ice free pavement the BOOM! from a 2014 Tacoma. Everyone is ok but my wife is still pissed to say the least, and now wants a truck.

Swapping out the KYB GR2's on the front of the Coug for a pair of Tokico Illumina II's this afternoon. Hoping to firm things up a little more on the street and get the nose to come up a little more violently at the track.

Looks like the trunk. the hole for the shock maybe?

I love my V8, but I'd love it more if all 8 cylinders worked. (they do now)

It is the hole for the passenger side rear shock. It's the result of some shoddy repair work a previous owner had done after someone crashed into the right rear quarter panel. They just repaired the panel, it probably never occured to them that the shock mount could have been damaged. It got pushed slightly upward and inward which made the paint around it crack causing the body to rust. I found it while looking for the infamous trunk leak. Nothing some 4mm plates can't fix.

Noticeable improvement? Maybe slight but not much. Louder for sure - but the new true dual exhaust had more to do with that.

The lighter wallet probably makes the truck slightly faster

Stop making me jealous with those pics
Going to have to weld that, thinking of reinforcing it on the inside with some 4mm thick plates on top and to the side.

BTW congratulations, CDsDontBurn.

Thanks everyone! Mom and baby are both doing well. Baby lost some weight, but that was to be expected. As of his last weigh in earlier tonight, he's started to gain some weight again.

And TMW, now that I'm on a laptop and not my smartphone, I can see the picture better, and yikes! soddy job they did!
