5.0 V8, is this the low side A/C connector?

I've some R-12 to put in the car this weekend. Which side is the low side on a 5.0. I think it's the passenger's side.

Am I correct??

Thanks amigos!

That one's HIGH side; it's between the compressor and the condensor.

Try the other side; it's over by the compressor.

Gotta be this one then, it's the only one my kit will fit, and the only connector besides the other one I posted a pic of.

Yep, that's low pressure.

It becomes obvious if you follow the hoses ... compressor --> HP fitting going into condensor --> outlet hose to evaporator --> evaporator to accumulator --> to high pressure fitting and compressor.

BTW, the expansion valve is in the hose from the condensor to the evaporator. I've found it's cheaper to just replace the whole line.

pulled in the R12 when it was 78° no problem. Then added the 2oz oil...
System's running fine. No click on click off every 10 seconds...
