Get-together or Meet ideas

I only have so many ideas of my own. I would like some suggestions from the rest of you guys so that we're not doing the same old, same old.

Winter stuff is going to be tough unless someone is doing some work and want to host a check-out my disassebled car type of thing. I know my car will be in the garage unless the weather is very nice and roads are totally dry.

The old dyno session is cool but can be pricey. I know a great place in South Windsor if we want to do this.

There is a big Ford club cruise night that is open to all comers at a Wal Mart in Wallingford that would be a good time. Peter Parker is a member and has been telling me about it for a while.

I would be fun to find an out of the way place for a burnout contest.

Maybe a clean and polish day in the spring

A friend of mine owns a Dyno but its 3 hrs from here *Groton CT* its located in Portland Maine, The guy knows what he is doing though , he owns a Viper that last year pushed 772 hp at the rear wheels on 8.5 psi and he made the TT kit for it. Hes going for 1000 this summer. I know he will give us a great deal if we get the whole new england involved *all Tbirds, Cougars, and the mark guys.* plus he can offer tuning for those us who are pushing some serious stuff. Just food for thought.... Could be a nice Cruise lol... on video of course because i have an In-Car Mounti can mount so it does video from any angle/window, etc .... Sunroof what??? lol ... Anyways food for thought , we def need to pick up the pace though on some meets...... Lets plan a meet for Aug 14th... or the weekend after? Sound good??

Summer Blast IV

The Mid-Atlantic Thunderbird/Cougar club is holding its annual Summer Blast event August 20-21, Sat - Sun at Hagerstown Mason Dixon Dragway, and Martinsuburg WV.

Saturday is racing, Sunday is car show and picnic. It would be couple hours drive for all of you but you are certainly welcome to come. I'm looking to put 50 MN12, or Lincolns in the staging lanes. We have our own class that day.

For more information contact us at www.MAMN12.com and check the calendar of events thread. There is also a post on the upcoming events thread here on TCCOA. Reservations for the Picnic must be made by August 8th. $5 per head covercharge for the picnic.

We hope to see you there.

Its been posted on the board/TCCOA Forum for months now!! We are having our Joel Bender Memorial Nats - Summer Blast V event coming up the 26th and 27th of August.

Its a two day event, Saturday picnic and MN12/FN10/Foxbody car show, with awards ceremony at the conclusion, then Sunday drag racing or car show at Hagerstown Mason Dixon Dragway.

We have/run in our own seperate class.

For more information on that please check the TCCOA upcoming events thread or go to our site at www.mamn12.com, Calendar of events, Summer Blast posts. Last day to register is August 21st. Spread the news to any others that may be interested.

Cost for Picnic is $5. Sunday to race is $25 I think, not sure about the show.

If anyone wants to meet up on the pike, I would be all for it. Burger king is usually a hot spot. It is getting cold, but my Mark VIII isn't scared of it.

Cobra upper and lower intake, 65mm Ford Racing TB, E303 cam, opened up E7 heads, Mac headers, Magnaflow true Duals, Tragnsgo shift kit, 3.73's in an auburn posi, hardly spins the tires! I NEED MORE SPEED! Anyone have anything quicker they want to trade for? PM ME!

Well there is a parking lot in naugatuck that has car shows often you could possibly host on there if you get permession.

Money invested 4,000+ in just repairs but its all worth it!
Dreams
5 speed swap, DOHC swap or PI, supercharger, true dual exhaust, wider tires, cowl hood. AND MUCH MORE!

You just replied to a post from 03, and last post was from 09, Don't be surprised if no one is in Connecticut anymore, I feel the same about Iowa
