heh, yeah, there is not 1 bit of rust anywhere on the car(except for areas that I've grinded to the metal, which now have minute surface rust)....
also, this car has not seen rain since 2001.

To what are you going to connect the rear of the SFC?

SWS

Soon to have some MHS parts, cams, 'luminum block, lower compression, ported heads, autorotor, and need to make long tubes. I have almost all the stuff and need some #42-50s a bypass valve, and maybe a few other things.

95BB, is the car on a perfectly place in your shop.
Speaking from experience, make sure it is prior to welding in the sfc's, to avoid a funky ride down the track and weird handeling and traction problems.

lol!

I haven't even touched the car since my last post....the sfc's are still sitting in the same place as they are in the picture....
My oldest son recently started up with the swim team, and that's been taking up a lot of my time. 6 days a week....when I finally get around to working on it, its already the next day.

so, no updates right now guys, sorry.

I really have no idea.
Since I did hurt it, I have been taking it easy(basically, not lifting anything heavy), and well yesterday, I had to carry an extension ladder up 13 flights of stairs....well lets just say, I feel it today.

It seems when you are ready to move forward, you take 2 steps back....I don't think I'm ever going to finish this thing.
But rest assured, this bit of modding will be done hopefully before the end of the year.

I thing I can add though, I made myself a new welding cart...I'll snap a pic of it later.

update, I have been working on the car some.
I finally got my welding cart finished up.
I got the subframe connectors half way in.....just need to finish welding them up.

Also, I'm half on the fence about putting in the 8 point bar right now.
I don't make enough power to run the time to even need it yet....the extra 90 lbs would just slow me down.
But on the other side, it sure would stiffen the car up more, and provide more safety.

IMO it would be a wise investment considering everything that has been removed that could have compromised your chances of surviving an accident.

I already have the bar, and the tools to do it. I just don't "need" it yet.
I should do it, would save from having to redo the paint on the inside of the car.

anyway, just about got these completly welded in.

I'm either going to start on the cage next, or remove some more weight off the front.
