make sure to wait for the engine to be cold before torquing your thermostat bolts. Otherwise you will likely be braking one or more of them. But in the event that you do, I might have a way to actually remove the broken bolt. But since I haven't yet located a suitable replacement, I am just leaving it as is.

definitely yes on the sealant! 1 bolt is holding it just great in my $)@#*@*# thermostat bolt condition. no leaks, running good, etc.

Maybe you can clean down the engine bay a little bit and see where the oil trail starts.

what was the hardest part to replace so far? I haven't replaced much but that backend emission tee and the vacuum hose under the throttle body so far are my least favorite part.

p.s. i ordered the service manual and vacuum guide off of ebay, i might be able to look some things up for you once it comes in.
Hey there. Did you receive the service manual and vacuum guide off ebay?

Yes i did. I have the haynes and the vacuum guide within arms reach. The big one is in storage but i can get to it in a day or so.

in my best sinbad the comedian voice(referring to pixie sticks): Yeah, what you want? Grape, lemon lime?
You can PM me your email address or facebook or what not if it will make it go faster/more detailed questions.
