nice ! I dont think your coffee table will be able to take full advantage of all that extra boost without some supporting mods first though... But seriously, how much boost you plan on runnin? Power gain/track goals?

Between 20 & 24 lbs. of boost, probably around 475/500 rwhp on motor & high 10's. Add a little nitrous & maybe low 10's.

A little Nitrous?

Don't you run a 125 shot like Steve?

Seriously though. How much of a nitrous shot do you use?

Mods? Yea, I got mods ...

Ron,
With the MPx I was running a 100 wet shot and ran a best of 11.15. I hope to better that time on motor alone and will probably start out with a 50 shot and see where that puts me time wise. I've been running 100 octane pump gas when at the track but I'll be stepping that up to a higher octane too.

2.3 Whipple and it's real expensive. XR7Dave, aka Dave Dalke, on SCCOA makes custom kits with different blowers. I think right now his blower of choice is a TVS.

Yeah, I knew you were. Just wondering where you were with it but looks like you're getting it narrowed down.

Get finished what you can then complete the rest after you're well. Good luck with the surgery bud!!!!

Everything's all done and the car is running on a base tune which has been tweaked with some "road" tuning. All I can say is that 21 lbs. of boost with a 2.3 Whipple is fun and it's not even completely tuned yet plus I still plan on running a 50 hp wet shot on top.................

That's the same size I bought with 3 inch piping. I'm hoping it flows good enough. Mine is just a cheaper version of yours. Lol

Yup it is a little cheaper inter cooler, and I didn't want it to be a restriction if it didn't flow well, so I got the 4 inch thick one 31x12x4 cx racing.

I flew Dalke in and I had a couple minor problems that couldn't be fixed while at the dyno rental. He did get it running decent but it's got some horses left on the table due to ignition problems and not being able to add any timing to it. I never even got to tuning with the nitrous. I have been driving it around some over the last couple of weeks.
