Question Aod?

Just researching in case my upcoming tranny flush doesn't solve the OD or torque converter issues at cruise...

Looking online I see I have an AODE transmission. But I keep seeing references of that with 4R70W included.

Wondering if they're separate?

The AODE is basically a 4R70w with AOD gears and the SBF bellhousing pattern. The AOD is the predecessor to both, non electronically controlled so they won't interchange.
