I've heard alot of bad stories about Powerdyne. For one its cheaply made and the inner guts don't stand up to well if you drive it like you stole it. I'm sure I can find pics.

I'd be more concerned with that stock NA 3.8 putting up with boost than I would be about that little ol' belt.

I know they make rebuild kits for it, check around. Just like any other performance part - you have to keep up with the maintenance for it to work correctly. My biggest fear with one of those is small pieces ending up in the engine. The belt is not the only thing to break with those units.

For 2 grand .... You can get a better "name brand" SC with add-on's used. Check other mustang forums like "stangnet" / "modularfords" / "corral" For superchargers for sale.

I have a mod motor (4.6) but I've seen plenty of V8's being 302'2 or 4.6's running a Novi head unit and go very well.

I'm worried about buying a mustang kit because of the radiator hoses(look like they would)get in the way,and what about that ac condenser?(Procharger High Output Intercooled Supercharger System with P-1SC for 1994-1998 Ford Mustang with 3.8L???)

Your stock internal 3.8 will not handle boost. buy a Supercoupe.

Yes it will, just not from a roots or twin-screw. With a good tune and boost that doesn't come on until higher RPMs, a regular 3.8 can handle it just fine.

I stand corrected. I thought I knew for a fact that they were just too weak. Maybe because I never heard about anyone putting a Centri blower on one. Just roots.

Well the roots type work so well because of how fast they build pressure (boost). If I remember correctly the roots style supercharger is based on the first application of the roots twin screw system, and that is from Industrial Air Compressors. Where I used to work we had a roots type compressor...we could turn it on and in seconds be @ 60 psi and starting the plasma cutter.
