North Carolinians are nicknamed the "Tar Heels".
It not exactly evident where this nickname originated, but it seems to have given birth during the Civil War. North Carolina's troops were said to have tar on their heels, because they would not run in battle even as other states retreated.
ThunderChecken, You have one of the nicest T-Birds I've seen. I hope I didn't offend you with my request, but am only trying to pick your brain on the SVO Supercharger installation. I will look on the classified to locate one. Take care and enjoy your beautiful ride. A classic to be sure and one to emulate! Be well.
ThunderChecken, I've got a 1994 T-Bird with the 4.6 OHC Modular V-8 and need as much info as you can feed me on the SVO Supercharger you have on your baby. All of the where it came from, which vehicle, if you can provide me some direction as to where to locate one, pricing, any installation part's list of what is needing to be replaced on my stock Bird, such as throttle cable, anything and everything that I would need to know, obtain and do to get this on my Bird. Thanks for your consideration in helping me with this. I look forward to hearing from you, Thomas Little Wolf (Littlewolf1109@aol.com) Be well always, LW
Nope Joe its the same that came with it , After RobertP tore is down found out it has been rebuilt before ! 0.30 over. new parts and all. Putting on PI heads along with the SVO
hey that is a sweet bird i got a 96 lx and i was wondering if you were happy with your throttle body and c&l inlet upgrade.. will i notice a real diference?
I have my scan guage mounted roughly the same way...but you did yours nicer, looks like you cut the plastic in the VMM panel so that it clips into the grooves on the side of the scan guage? Looks real clean...I'm gonna get another VMM and give it another go...nice work
"Little by little" is a understatement! Since you've been on here you're buying all the parts in the parts for sale forum! :P Keep up the good work! You should come to the shoot out this year when your done with the PI swap.
nice Bostons you have there Thunderchecken. We have two also, one brindle/white female and one black/white female. They're great dogs and you're oh so right about their big hearts.talk to you later(thanks for the sunroof info.)
