Engine teardown to parts; bent valve.

Both heads seem to have scored journals.

Crank is good, as are the cams.

All oil rings are stuck in the grooves. Pistons look rough.

I have run Syntec in the is engine since 120k miles; it is still filthy inside from quaker state. It has a unique smell, lol.

Note the crosshatching visible in the bore all the way to the top; there is no ring ridge. The pistons slid right out with thumb pressure.

Grog6 That's the broke one; it's going in storage for parts. everything except the block and crank is toast.

I'll try to post some more pics later; I have pics of the Mark engine, and the PI motor that's going in.
