different crank sensors ??

i pulled some codes , one led me to believe it was the crank sensor , so i went to autozone and they were trying to give me this one for my 93 sc http://www.autozone.com/N,15100111/s...eResultSet.htm

which looks nothing like the oem in the car which looks just like this one [IMG][/IMG]

the only problem is that this one is from a 92 sc , i tried it and it doesnt work , car cranks but wont start, the only different i saw was a smaller wire on it than the original one..

which is the right sensor for my 93 sc ??

The Ford P/N you want is F3SZ-6C315-AA

The crank sensor for a 92 is the same as for a 93, so the sensor should work. Autozone's catalog is wrong for the 93 sensor. If the car ran before you changed the sensor, the sensor you bought is either bad or incorrectly installed.
