Every now and then someone thinks their car is worth a ton of money, he will be sitting on that for a long time at that price.

1995 LX 4.6 Stock for now.

generally people outside the club who own these cars are...well... morons. they act like they have a Ferrari Enzo because they have a bird thats supercharged from the factory.

(small rant on these kinds of sellers): if your going to ask a stupidly high price for a car worth a fraction of it, include more than 1 blurry ****** picture!!!

Yeah, maybe in 15 years from now after most of the SC's have been crushed and parted out, we'll see how much they are worth with the handful that remains.

the only way the market value is going up is if scrap metal goes up and that is really down right now.

If scrap metal goes down anymore in price we will have to start paying them to take it.

1995 LX 4.6 Stock for now.

It certainly isn't worth hauling in even with gas hovering just over $2 per gallon

I have my SC but have me eye on picking up a V8 as well. I just love T-Birds, started back when my dad bought a 1978 Diamond Jubilee Edition T-Bird, that thing was a tank but just something cool and unique about them.

Really a shame that its always had to play second fiddle to the pony car but I think thats what has attracted me to them, not as mainstream.

I would love to find a SC in great shape for less than $2000 with less than 100K miles. I mean a car that is ready to drive cross country that I can take to a car show with out being embarrased.

I saw an article in MM&FF on the most affordable ford cars to obtain for a build. The MN12 chassis cars were on the list and it said buys these cars up now because the value is expected to go up. I thought that seemed kind of strange

mn12 worth more??? I seriously doubt it. Like it was mentioned before I see lots of people who don't give 2 craps about taking care of their SC birds or LX birds. But then again I see lots of nice birds/cats on the road too. Its a toss up between brains and money, so long as enough of both exist the car will survive to see another day or another owner who has more $$$/brains.

Stock for stock the supercoupes were faster. They also had the optional manual transmission that none of the LX's had. I won't knock SC's they are fun to drive.

Prices

ANY car is worth only what a buyer is willing to pay.

I would like to see the value rise of MN-12's.

I believe they are at the tipping point..........restore them or junk them.

yeah but then again. who doesn't love a big v8 rumbling under their hood. stock for stock of course the s/c where faster they put out more with a much smaller engine. i see it as though i rather have a s/c v8 vs. a supercharged v6. i tore apart a s/c for its m90 and plan on putting it on my v8. when i was taking apart the s/c stuff on the s/c it was kinda intersting to see all the components to the system. i would've like to have nabbed that intercooler but i haven't the slightest idea how to get that into the system with redoing the whole engine bay. but i wouldn't mind having a stick just need to learn how to drive it first

Every head gasket ive seen that blew was from corrsion from the water jacket eating its way to the fire ring on the gasket. Change your antifreeze every 2-3 years and maybe never blow a head gasket. I know turning up the boost kills them as well but one they get eaten, and the Eaten gets heatin. BOOM
Just sold number 9,SC

Most of the decent looking Thunderbird/Cougars around my town are 96/97 models. The older ones look all dogged out and stuff.
