Nice ride. Great deal for $800. You should cut out the scoops in the hood though.

Ya I want to make them look functional. I was thinking of cutting them out and putting in some kind of grill.

Better off leaving them closed. With open scoops, the air forced under the hood will increase the static air pressure in the engine compartment, and that will reduce the amount of air that flows through the radiator and intercooler core.

You will also cover the motor with water everytime it rains.

That's a good looking bird for 800$ smackers. I love the candy apple red color too! The wing is fugly IMO but to each their own. Yea leave the hood alone, maybe color it black or better yet paint grills on them

Beware; now that you own one everything else in your life might be second in line.

This makes my 3rd T-bird. I still own all 3. But this makes my second SC. I have a 90 almost identical to it minus the hood and wing.

Soon to have some MHS parts, cams, 'luminum block, lower compression, ported heads, autorotor, and need to make long tubes. I have almost all the stuff and need some #42-50s a bypass valve, and maybe a few other things.

I can't get it to start. I put the new parts on it that it needed. Crank sensor and balancer. But now it won't start. I put new gas in it. It wants to start and some times it will start and run for a few short seconds and die.

Fuel pressure? What does the tach show whent this is happening. Can you rev it up when it does start? What do the plugs look like?

I'm going to go outside to day and start from square one. I'm going to do some test and write it all down and then post everything on here.

Ok here is my partial up date. I will have more info after I warm back up and do more testing.
*Fuel Pressure 40 psi and it holds it. So the fuel pressure regulator is good.
*Upshift light goes out when cranking and is on when not cranking
*When I turn the key on the battery, abs, brake, seat belt, check engine, check gauge, and upshift lights are on
*When cranking abs, brake, check gauge, and seat belt lights are on.
*When cranking the tac and boost/vac gauge move.
*I also just put a brand new battery in today
*Spark Plug wires are in the right order
*All 6 plugs are getting spark
*Spark plugs are wet so its getting fuel

After I warm up I'm going to go back out and check that all wire have spark and are in the right place.
