??Will supercoupe AOD tranny work in regular T-Bird???

I have an 89' regular bird and I am doing a transmission swap, and I am wondering if an AOD tranny out of an 89' SC will match with a regular 89' T-Bird?? Anyone know?

The AOD from the SC is actually better than the one from the N/A due to extra clutche(s). You can read about it in the Ford Transmissions 101 tech article.

I dont know anything about tranny's! I bought a tranny off of a guy on here from a 1991 SC. I have it in my garage right now, and to tell you the truth im kinda scared of what is going to happen when i try to swap them. Has anyone else done this?? what is there to expect for trouble?? Someone want to come to dayton ohio and do it for me?!?!
