EGR codes

When I do a code scan I get pretty much every EGR code there is. Anyone see any harm in ignoring the EGR until winter when I pull the engine apart to replace gaskets and probably just delete the EGR alltogether. (I dont live in an emissions teating area)

Its mostly for fuel economy, so no harm ignoring the codes as long as you don't have any vacuum leaks causing the EGR to be inoperable.

There are seven pieces of tubing in that line; all are bad now.

EDIT: No, that's for the 4.6l. But I'm sure that's the problem.

My SC has no EGR, been deleted. I also temporally blocked off the EGR on my F150 (300), it ran better than leaking but I did replace and return to stock.

If all else fails get a bigger hammer!
