removing engine

i've been looking everywhere and i can't find any how-to's for removing a 3.8 sc engine. what all do i need to disconnect? is it as simple as taking out all the bolts i can find attaching the engine to the car and lifting with a hoist or what?

check out this thread on the sccoa board:

I put up the check list I used to pull mine a couple days ago.

While you have it out, might want to think about degreasing the entire engine compartment. I did mine today and got (almost literally) a ton of grease. Also, I found out the stock power steering rack in silver in color.....not the black that I originally thought it was. It all looked black before I started cleaning. After....well let's put it this way.... I'll be replacing all the loom on the hoses and wires before the motor goes back in.
