Exclamation WHere is MAP SENSOR?

Hello all,

New user here, i am dan.

I own a 1990 COugar xr7 with the SC 3.8.

I need to connect the vaccum line to the map sensor and i cant locate the hose or line that connects to the map sensor from the intake manifold....

I do beleive it is a vaccum line that connects to the map sensor and i just cant find it......does anyone happen to have the appropriate location for it?

Someone please help me i am going insane here in this heat in my garage.

THANX ALL

Daniel

thanks for the reply. Unfortunatly a friend if my wrote my post. What I was refering
to was the vacuume tube. I recently rebuilt my engine and i guess i forgot to label a tube. sorry about the confusion.

If you or anyone else reading this know where the vacuume tube leads to it would be much appreciated.

Thanks again,

Dan

The supercharged engines have a BAP sensor that does not use a vacuum line. See this post for more details:

Thanks for the info.

In one of my manuals there was a drawing of a sc engine bay with
the BAP sesor hooked up to a vacuume hose. but then i saw pics on the net
with the BAP sesor not connected to anything. Very aggravating!
Thanks for clearing that up.

Im getting engine codes from the EEC for the BAP sesor. Guess its time
to get a new one....

Thanks again,

Dan
