Unhappy Another Ignition Prob

I thank everyone for the help I received several months ago, and am back for some more advice. This is what the car is doing now, every few days it will not start after being driven, then parked for about an hour. This has been the only circumstances that it has occured under. It has happend about eight times now. The shift light is on when it won't start. After trying every few minutes for a total of around 10 to 15 times, the shift light will go out and it will start. I put it in the shop and paid for a new ignition module on top of the AC unit and some general troubleshooting, but it did not correct the prob. I am now thinking maybe ignition switch, bad connection, or something along those lines. Anyone had a problem like this before?

Thanks
Rich

The up-shift light on the tach while cranking generally points to a bad crank sensor, not DIS, so I hope you kept the old one. I would replace the crank sensor before any other parts. Crank Sensor, Cam Sensor, and DIS exhibit similar starting problems like you outlined but the upshift light says Crank Sensor. Good luck
