V6 to V8 exhaust

I was wondering if you could swap the V8 cat back over to a V6 car.One of my buddies needs an exhaust for his 96 V6 car and I have my old straight pipe V8 cat back in the garage. It is straight pipes from the cats back.No resonator.

Whould this work or swap over to a 96 V6 car with no problems???

i can't verify on the catback portion. i know the downtubes are differant though so i would guess there would have to be alittle bit of pipe work done

Would need a hanger on the passengers side for the other muffler. I think the rest should be fine.

Well when I ran the straight pipe on my car I had no rear hangers and it was fine for the most part.I knew the down tubes were different but I wasn't sure about the cat back.I would think it would be just fine seeing how the are no difference's underneath the car between the V6 and V8 cars.
