Finally, car goes in Tuesday

Finally found a shop that would get rid of my gutted cats and make/install some flanged straight pipes in its place. Hoping to get rid of that weird noise that the empty cat chambers are creating now... sounds similiar to an exhaust leak (air rushing thru). I was talking to the exhaust guy about that noise and he said something to me if the Air Pump was hooked up??? I had no idea what he meant. Im hoping this will cut out some droning too (Will flow better too I'd imagine).

Well the way he put it, it sounded like something to be connected to the exhaust? This might be true for other vehicles or other applications... but when I checked my cats... all I saw were the front and rear o2 sensors :P. Oh well...
