why does my exhaust look like this



i can't tell if it is damaged or that if stock exhausts were designed to have a big dent in the pipe but it doesnt look like a good thing to me.

thats stock, ford did that to avoid contact with the cross member there. Really very restrictive.

no kidding. that makes me mad. u would think if they were worried about rubbing they could make a bracket or SOMETHING. i can't imagine how much mpg/hp i'm losing b/c of that.

Not much actually, the NPI engine is choked as it is.

Now, if you plugged a PI engine into that exhaust.... It would probably reach around and slap you!

that crimp was a major influence on modding my exhaust.

pimp'n aint easy

mods: air silencer delete w/ k&n panel filter, magnaflow di/do tru duals w/all cats removed, sct 92 oct tune by blue oval chips, tokico advanced handling suspension kit

On the plus side, that dent was put there at no cost to you. Compliments of Ford!
