I am in the middle of putting a set on my 97. The headers fit up there nicely. You have to pull the motor mount bolts and jack the motor up to get to some of the bolts. I am having issues with getting the EGR tube back on, it is hard to get lined up correctly to get it started and there is very little room to maneuver it around, but I will get it. There looks to be plenty of room for a stock starter, I have a smaller on already on mine.
Hope this helps

I got mine from CNC Motorsports on-line. I needed a starter anyways and this looked like a good deal. You can clock the starter in a few different positions. I can actually see all three mounting bolts.

I had my starter rebuilt for $75 before I installed the headers. it was 11 years old and still working good. Hopefully now that it's freshened it will last just as long.
