I've 2 experiences with custom exhaust.

1) True dual 2.5" with high flow cats, Magnaflow resonator, and no mufflers. Good sound, little drone, and not overly loud I thought.

2) True dual 2.5" with high flow cats, X pipe, and Flowmaster 40's in the rear. Also good sound, little drone, but definitely louder than the other setup. Still a good sound, I like it - but don't try to sneak home late at night

Would you happen to have a clip of both to hear?

I don't have the Magnaflow, but I've sorta got a clip of the Flowmaster. It's just start up, idle, and shut down but you can get the idea. The Magnaflow exhaust went on another car and when it's running, I'll see if I can talk the guy into getting a clip.

Just checking, and I mean no offense by this, but can you read?

Following with a video clip.... I would have to say that it's the Flowmaster setup. Yes, X pipe on the Flowmaster setup.

And as far as the Magnaflow setup

No mufflers, no X pipe - just high flow cats and mid-mount DI/DO Magnaflow.

Sorry, no clip of the DIDO setup from Melon's old car....

The other day after getting it on with a chick from MU, I looked out the Window and saw it sitting in the back of the dumptruck. I was like "Hey, there's my exhaust! I was wondering what I did with that!!"

So yeah, Its out of the car, and so is the motor.... Don't think a sound clip is going to be possible. I can try to fart in it if you would like...

OK.. let me try this again.

The video clip is the Flowmaster setup (see my post above)

No video clip of the Magnaflow setup

Yes X pipe on the Flowmaster, no X pipe on the Magnaflow setup

And I had experience with both. The Magnaflow setup was on the 96 Sport. And the Flowmaster setup is on my 94.

And can you spell? The only way anyone should see 'ketch' is when 'up' is right behind it.

I'm assuming you guys are all in an area where emissions are required???

I'm not, so I'm running shorty headers, NO CATS, true 2.5" duals with x-pipe and flowmasters out back and love it!!

no what most people I know in cali do is have the stock exhaust handy... and when that time comes they throw it all back up in there and take it down for the smog test. Then when it passes throw their custom exhaust back on.

It certainly makes life interesting, doesn't it

And no emissions around here, I just didn't want to draw too much attention to myself.

I'm still trying to figure out whether or not I like the color scheme. Anyone have any other photos of it?

Even if you fall on your face, you're still moving forward.
