header fitment

Will headers from a 94-94 tbird 4.6 fit a Mark 4.6 mod motor? Are the bird ports oval? Thanks.

2 valves have round ports, they are different from the 4v's

Thats what I needed to know. I had the ann. ed 1990. I good with the 3.8 sc, no knowledge on the 4.6 birds. Thanks. Just looking for options other than KooKs.

If I'm correct, unfortunately, Kooks and JBA are the only companies that make headers for the Thunderbird. Even worse, they make the headers for the 2V 4.6 only, not the 4V. Looks like you might have to have a set custom fabricated.

The KOOKs are made specifically for the Marks. There are others for the mod motors, but for mustangs. I've found some cheap sets on ebay. Looks like I'll try my luck and just cut and plug the egr tubes.
