Cat back system

Where's the best place, with the lowest prices to buy a cat back for our 4.6's? I'm looking for something that's a direct fit that's not all that labor intensive.
Thanks!

Jegs has the Dynomax cat-back for $265.99. That's about as low a price as I've seen, but I don't know how much they charge for shipping. They're running a $75 rebate on Dynomax bolt-on exhaust systems through April 30.

I think you're wrong!
I couldn't find anything relative doing a Google search or by entering the URL directly.

Isn't this basically what we have now on our Birds now except for different mufflers?

Yes and no. The stock system is 2-1/4" intermediate pipe with resonator (for 95 and earlier), 2" tail pipes, and fairly restrictive mufflers. The main emphasis was on keeping it quiet.

The Dynomax kit is 2-1/2" intermediate pipe, no resonator, and 2-1/4" tailpipes into Super Turbos shaped like the stock mufflers. And it's mandrel bent.

So it looks like the factory system from the back, but it flows a little better and makes a little more sound. It is a simple bolt-on as it uses the factory exhaust hangers. You could do it in your driveway if you can get the rear of the car high enough off the ground.

The True Bends system is, IIRC, the one now being sold by Mandrel Bent Exhaust. There's a thread in the Parts For Sale section:

It is not a simple bolt-on as far as I can tell.

Combine the Dynomax kit with the MagnaFlow 23343 cat and you'd have a reasonably good flowing, reasonably good sounding, 49-state legal, direct-fit exhaust system.

Hi sideoiler, i guess you decided to keep your bird? I messaged you back around November or so. Anyway, good call! I just got a car identical to yours and there's no way I could sell it either.

I have the Dynomax system with the magnaflow cat 'Y' pipe, except i might have cut off that thrid cat... There is definetly a change is sound, its not loud by any means but has a nice low rumble to it, this of course gets much louder when you hammer it down. If your looking for simple, not real loud, and better flow, Id go with this.
