hi-flow cats

went to an exhaust shop ask about high flow cats they said they dont do nothing for you,went to another one and they said they help out alot,opinions are appreciated

1996 ford Thunderbird LX 4.6L 2V [email protected]

True dual exhaust(Magnaflow cats/Mufflers

they help by increasing flow. hence hi-flow cats. the stockers suck. with hi-flows you get a better sound. better flow never hurts

My car is no slower with these installed vs having no cats at all on the car.

Don't forget how old your car actually is. Replacing the old cats with new ones helps and using better flowing ones helps set up a good foundation for future mods. I replaced my cats and oxygen sensors recently and noticed better fuel mileage as well as better acceleration.

Mods? Do the ones in the garage waiting to go on the car count?

i ended up with the high flow cats

did anyone remove the third cat and have like a pop noise when they rev up??

my buddies have that problem i assume you're running with no mufflers. if you had mufflers it would tone it down a whole lot.

i know mine are high flows

im sure since their mufflers are better than stock that all their cats are better than stock
